Bihar’s Vigilance Investigation Bureau has performed so efficiently in 2025—registering a record 122 FIRs at a rate of one every second working day—that it is now constructing a state-of-the-art building to house its massive collection of seized cash and jewelry. The department is the only wing of the government meeting its targets, mainly by catching everyone else in the government not meeting theirs. Plans are reportedly in place to install 'Bribe ATMs' for easier evidence collection in 2026.
