The odd part

Integrating 1980s British pop into 12th-grade calculus for 'holistic learning'.

What happened

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has successfully innovated the examination process by hiding a QR code in the Class 12 Maths paper that redirects students to Rick Astley’s 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. A board spokesperson claimed the move was intended to teach students that just like the song, the Indian education system is 'never gonna let you down'—at least not until the result day. Distraught students who expected a link to formula sheets were instead treated to a lesson in 80s dance moves.
