The odd part
Fixing the state's name is the only infrastructure project that is currently 100% on schedule and 300% over budget.
What happened
Following the Union Cabinet's nod to rename the state 'Keralam,' a new government vertical called the 'Directorate of Phonetic Sovereignty' has been established. The mission involves thousands of 'Alphabet Officers' equipped with rubber stamps visiting every household to manually append the letter 'M' to ration cards and birth certificates. While the state's highway projects remain stalled due to land issues, the 'Mission M' project has been granted unlimited funding to ensure the state achieves 'vocal closure' by the end of the fiscal year.
