Redefining the term 'mobile infrastructure,' a project under the PM Gram Sadak Yojana in Jalna has produced a highway so innovative that it doesn't even require a foundation. Locals were shocked to discover they could lift the entire road with their bare hands, revealing a thin cloth carpet beneath the asphalt. While the contractor claimed this was high-tech 'German technology,' villagers argue it’s more of a 'Magic Carpet' technology designed to make the budget disappear. It is the only road in the world that can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner instead of a steamroller.
